Teachers taking risks! That's the best short description of this video of two veteran teachers taking a risk and presenting at the Delaware Count Intermediate Unit's Science Collaboration Day. Lisa Cobb is a middle school science teacher demonstrating uses for a document camera in a science class. She's been teaching about 10 years. Joan Reynolds is discussing our work co-planning and co-teaching a chemistry lesson using Windows Movie Maker. Joan retired that year!
One of the most interesting things about conducting invdividual staff development with technology is that you can never predict who you will work with on topics of integration. Sometimes I expected it to be teachers new to the field or younger in age. Well, most of my rewarding work has come from vets just willing to try something new. Kudos!
